For over 21 years, we have been teaching traditional Moo Duk Kwan style Tae Kwon Do, a Martial Art originating in Korea. Tae Kwon Do is the most widely practiced Martial Art with over 70 million practiioners worldwide. Our students range in age from 3 years through adult, including many seniors and families. Tae Kwon Do, like all Martial Arts, helps to improve overall fitness with a variety of stretching and cardiovascular workouts. It helps to improve motor skills in our students, as well as promoting overall focus, self-confidence, self-discipline, self-control and respect for oneself and others.
Students learn not only to defend themselves by mastering a wide array of kicks, punches and blocks, but they also learn valuable life-skills such as teamwork, goal setting, perserverance and a strong work ethic.
